Saint Anne's Terrace: Senior Living at Its Best

Saint Anne’s Terrace is a not-for-profit retirement community committed to providing residential housing and services for senior living in the Buckhead Atlanta area since 1987. The Terrace is affiliated with Saint Anne’s Episcopal Church, solidly backed by an involved volunteer Board of Directors, and staffed by qualified, caring personnel. Saint Anne’s welcomes people of all faiths and no faith to embrace and enjoy our community lifestyle.

Executive Director, David Brooks has been at St. Anne’s Terrace for sixteen years. He originally started at the Terrace in a PT role to help cover college expenses, but quickly realized he loved working with seniors. Over the years, he has served in a variety of different roles, but loves his current job as Executive Director.

St. Anne’s Terrace is mission driven and follows the statement, “The Mission of St. Anne’s Terrace is to provide excellence in housing and services in a faith-based community, so residents may flourish” in everything they offer from beautiful apartment living, rehabilitation services and chef-prepared daily meals to housekeeping services, fitness programs and off-site excursions.

David enjoys making a difference and getting to know the residents, families, and staff. “We are a true family here at the Terrace and would love for anyone interested to come tour our facility and grounds, and more importantly, get to know the residents and staff,” David offers.

Age is nothing but a number at St. Anne’s Terrace. They have a reputation for throwing really great parties and events. The staff is interactive with the residents and everyone at the Terrace has a lot of fun!

David enjoys spending his free time with his family. David and his wife have two children, ages four and two. They love to get out in nature and stay active. The Brooks family has four furry friends: three dogs and a cat.

On top of his time at the Terrace, David serves on a volunteer board with Leading Age Georgia, which is the statewide association that represents the key not-for-profit and other mission-driven organizations dedicated to providing quality housing, health care, and community-based services that people need, when they need them, in the places they call home. “Our members offer the full array of aging services in Georgia. These providers are committed to advancing the vision of healthy, affordable, and ethical long-term care for older Georgians,” David concludes.
